Best gulet cruises in Croatia
Among Turkey and Greece, Gulet cruises in Croatia are very popular. Gulet cruises are great option for people who like to sail, but also like to enjoy great comfort, home type bedrooms and bathrooms and nicely served meals on the deck as well as sunbathing and relaxing. Luxury Gulet is a wooden sailboat that usually goes both on sails (which are in most cases fully functional) and motor but doesn’t necessarily have sails. There are more and less luxurious Gulets to charter and according to luxury the prices can be lower or higher.
Gulet charter include boat rental with complete crew, captain, hostess and cook and fuel as well as port taxes. One of the best Gulet cruises are starting from Split and include island hopping. A day on a luxury Gulet starts in the morning when breakfast is served aboard. After breakfast you start your cruise heading to one of Croatian islands where the boat is anchored in one of the hidden coves and you can sunbath and swim and enjoy other summer sea activities. It is based in Split, 25 meters long, has 4 cabins and 5 showers/wc and it can accommodate 11 people. The cabins are really beautiful and have a comfort of home type bedrooms. Bathrooms are spacious and has a real home feel. The boat has sun deck with sunbeds where guest can relax and sunbath. It is air-conditioned, has free Wifi aboard as well as dinghy to transport guests on the coast.
The boat also has TV and radio/CD player. As for the crew, it consists of chef, skipper, hostess and sailor and they are all included in boar price. The boat price with the crew is 15,000.00 €. This price include shipboard accommodation, permits, insurance, all equipment on board, tender with outboard engine, linens and towels, beach towels, fuel for main engine, 4 h of navigation per day, crew salaries, gasoline for tender, diesel for generator (24/h day), Internet connection, VAT. Extra costs are marina fees, port fees, anchorages which can be calculated due to your preferences.
Food and drinks aboard are also extras, so half board per person/week is 315.00 € (for children age 6 – 10 it is 157.50 €) and full board is 525.00 € (for children age 6 – 10 it is 262.50 €). As for drinks options there is all inclusive domestic package per person (includes Croatian wines, beers, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, natural and mineral water, coffee, tea, juices) and it costs 175.00 € per person/week, but you can also choose all-inclusive domestic non-alcoholic package which is 90.00 € per person/week.
